Vianna
MON-FRI 10A-2P SAT 6P-10P SUN 8A-1P
Growing up listening to Tim Buc Moore as a local Radio God, Vianna graduated from Pleasant Valley High School and Chico State with a BA in Music Industry and Keyboard Performance. Recently returning from years living abroad in the UK, she wrapped up a variety of musical experiences including being a classical music booker in London, DJing in Belfast, starting a weekly 50s style Rock-n-Roll Club to playing with 3 retired British blokes in a local regional covers band in the South West of England. Throw in a stint working with Festival VIPS at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and teaching English to Russian teenagers in Siberia through the wise words of the Beastie Boys, she is glad to be back where classic British rock from the 70s sound almost better than back in good old Blighty.
When not at the radio station, teaching piano or supporting the local arts as a City of Chico Arts Commissioner, Vianna serves on the Pleasant Valley High School Foundation giving back to her alma mater, plays keys in the local band Black Fong and is desperately trying to train up her new puppy.

Born in Chicago. Father to three awesome (and grown) kids. Sports fan, baseball being my favorite. Collector of records and vintage stereo equipment. Classic and muscle car owner/enthusiast. Enjoy working with my hands; on cars and various home projects. Love the outdoors!
Started my radio career 65 miles south of Chicago in a small fishing town. Within four years I was working on air at a rock station in the second tallest building in the Chicago. Since then, I’ve worked on handful of stations in my hometown (including my favorite station as a teenager) as well as Milwaukee and a few other places in the Midwest. I also worked in Southern California for a few years. I created, produced, and hosted two national rock radio shows from 2004 to 2014 which aired on well over 100 radio stations in North America.
It’s good to be back in California.

Hey! My name is Jordan I have lived locally in the Nor Cal area my entire life, I grew up in Cottonwood I am the oldest of three Boys. For nearly twenty years we grew up about 15 miles out Bowman Road on a few acres. Our favorite thing to do was ride our ATV’s on our dirt track and see who could complete 10 laps the fastest. If we weren’t riding on the track we were arguing over whose turn it was on the PlayStation. We had family that lived on neighboring properties so it was always a wild with all us kids hanging out every day. I attended Evergreen School District for K-8 and graduated 8th grade in 2010. High School was fantastic I attended West Valley High School in Cottonwood, where I met some of my best friends and no they weren’t the cows in the fields surrounding the school. Auto Shop and Computer Science proved to be my strong subjects. Around the time I was a Junior in H.S. we moved to beautiful Red Bluff where I reside to this day with my amazing girlfriend Ashley and son Zach out in the country just like when I was growing up.

Grateful Don Potter
SUN 1P-6P
Don Potter comes to Thunder after a long career in the Bay Area. His passion for music lead him to pursue a living in radio. After attending The KIIS broadcasting workshop in Los Angeles he landed his first full time radio gig in San Luis Obispo at KSLY. He arrived in San Jose in the mid-80’s working up and down the dial. After nearly fifty years in radio Don and his wife Sue decided to get out of the rat race and move to The North State where he began his stint at “Thunder 100.7”. Don’s been a passionate follower of The Grateful Dead and still follows the founding members and their bands whenever they are on the road. Since coming to NorCal, Don has been able to pursue his other passion for acting and has performed in several productions at The Cascade Theater and Shasta College. He is so happy to be a part of this amazing community.
