FREE Coyote Island ShowThe Commons Social Empourium, 2412 Park Ave, Chico, CA 95928, USA
Coyote Island is the musical vision of producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike O’Hehir. For many years, Mike traveled thecountry with a guitar in hand, collecting sounds and ideas. Upon returning hometo Maine, he began the process of pouring his heart into recordings.
With roots in folk music, the sound quickly expanded into a newgenre-bending realm of psychedelic indie. Mike assembled a band of brothers tocapture the expansive soundscape in a live setting, and from this, CoyoteIsland was born. With the release of their first hit single, “Here Before,” theband quickly gained fans around the globe. Their live performance has beendescribed as both “electric” and “transportive.”
With good vibrations, danceable grooves, andtropical psychedelia, Coyote Island offers a sonic vacation from the doldrumsof existence.
